An bone idol is a grizzly fetish that has been the focus of (usually) primitive worship for so long that it has gained a small amount of magical power.

AppearanceEdit

Bone idols are made from bone, either animal or human, that are primitively carved and tied together with twine or hair until they resemble a small figure with a distorted, large head that has a fearsome grin and whose neck is hung with an impressive necklace of teeth. Many bone idols are carved to resemble fearsome monkeys or apes rather than humans.[1]

Habitat & EcologyEdit

Bone idols can be found wherever worship is focused on primitive fetishes, as such they are most common in the depths of the Mwangi Expanse. While many bone idols are fashioned in the image of some obscure god of disease or beasts the most popular deity depicted is the demon lord of apes, savageA Angazhan. As constructs bone idols have no real effect on their environment as they have no need to eat. Bone idols do have some unique properties, being bitten by one cause the person to go into a uncontrollable, bestial rage that often turns the recipient against his former allies. Another odd feature is the bone idols effect upon zombies, any zombie created near a bone idol becomes faster and stronger than they would normally be, a valuable boon for any necromancer.[1]
