Order of the Gate Hellknight
The hellknight Order of the Gate operates from its redoubt, Citadel Enferac in the western Menador Mountains. Signifers, or arcane and religious spellcasters, outnumber the rank and file Hellknights three to one in this order. In addition, the Order of the Gate have no lictor, choosing to be guided by the Vicarius Giordano Torchia instead. With their focus on the pursuit of knowledge from dealing with infernal servants in the worlds beyond, the crimson cloaked signifers are seldom seen abroad in Cheliax and feared by even other orders of hellknights.[1]
Several paralictors from the Order of the Gate have lost their entire commands seeking to close down a rumored gate to Hell located within the Whisper Woods in recent years.[2]
