The magic item known as vanity's eye is actually a pair of magical mirrors first constructed in the ancient Thassilonian empire of Edasseril. Both are silver hand mirrors, one set with a priceless gem (the master mirror), while the other is set with slightly warped glass (the slave mirror). Anyone who looks into into the slave mirror runs the risk of becoming convinced that mirror has made him or her wonderfully attractive. In fact, the person looses a great deal of personal charisma and beauty, and is unable to part with the mirror under any circumstances. Only powerful magic, or the breaking of either mirror can break this curse. For as long as this curse lasts, the person possessing the master mirror receives the cursed person's beauty and likability.[1]

Auras[]

The mirrors radiate enchantment and transmutation magics.[2]
